    The 12 week thing means something different to each person. Strictly speaking the chances of a miscarriage are higher in the first trimester (12 weeks) than later on so a lot of people wait.

    We waited until 10 and were comfortable with it being out there no matter what happens. All our results thus far are very normal anyway and the wife doesn’t even need calcium or iron supplements, which a number of women do.
